LINE messaging app
Tapping on the innate social needs of humans, countless communication apps have been created and the app market is well populated (or should I say, exploding) with apps competing with similar functions; Skype, Whatsapp, Viber, Fring, Tango, Kakao, Nimbuzz … it is an endless list. Amidst the tough competition, LINE, has seen its users steadily increasing and crossing the 300 million mark by the end of 2013.
Now that is a feat.
One glance at LINE and it appears to function like your regular messaging app, calls, text, multimedia functions, but this Japanese based start-up has created a whole realm of apps to differentiate itself from the rest. This includes a camera, 26 games, doodling tools and a whole lot more.
